GPMI partners with various food pantries across the City of Waterbury which receives food or food items from the Connecticut Food Bank or other sources. We also partner with Costco that donates to us food on a regular basis or several times a week. These are either fresh produce, canned  food, fresh meat, or organic foods, Bread/Pastries and Water. GPMI operates a mobile food  pantry through which it distributes these food to various neighborhoods or clients of low income communities and or those still in transitional mode in settling in their new homes. In these hard times we understand that there are so many families that are insecure food wise , food is a basic necessity and we consider it a blessing to us to be a channel that helps bridge the gap.

Clients in ‘Tent cities’, under bridges, street corners or abandoned buildings may receive hot meals or sandwiches, soft drinks and/or bottled water from our supporters who partners with us.

GPMI partners with volunteers who make up to 200 Sandwiches every week for distribution.

Closely working with St. Vincent Depaul Shelter, GPMI partners with Waterbury SDA Church and other volunteers to serve fresh hot meals for dinner every 2nd Sunday of every month at St. vincent DePaul Shelter which is the largest shelter in the primary geographical area.
